Cozy Winter Senses.
It includes Orchestra, Outdoor Sights & Sounds, Indoor Sights & Sounds and Light & Dark.
This is so exciting during the month of December because it includes many of the sights, sounds and other senses of Christmas. It also shares the wonders of the Winter Season.
Below l am sharing a few of the activities from the curriculum.
Orchestra
The children will love learning about instruments by exploring them and hearing their sounds.
The children will make a Violin Prop.
Outdoor Sights and Sounds
Children will explore the outside world. Learning about animals, plants and sounds in nature.
The children will make a bell shaker and have The Polar Express Story Time.
Indoor Sights & Sounds
When the children are smelling cookies or banging on pots they are engaging in sensory play.
During the process they stimulate their senses.
The children will be decorating Gingerbread Man Cookies and Doing Cookie Art.
Light & Dark
The Children will be learning about Candle Light, Stars, Shadows, Winter Days and Winter Nights
