This last week we did so many fun Learning Activities with Experience Early Learning Curriculum . Our Theme this month is Ice Castle and today I am sharing some of the Activities we did.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to use Experience Early Learning Curriculum with my students and to share our experiences on my blog.
In exchange for my unbiased and honest reviews Experience Early Learning has provided me with the curriculum free of charge.
I have used Experience Early Learning Curriculum in my Classroom since 2017. This Curriculum has been a True Blessing for me and my students! ❤️
This week in Pre-K we learned about Tundra Animals
and today I am sharing some learning activities we did while learning about Polar Bears.
All About Polar Bears
Some things we learned about Polar Bears:
Polar Bears have thick skin, so they don’t get cold.
Polar Bears can grow very large.
Polar Bears eat fish and seals.
Polar Bears live in the Northern Hemisphere.
Polar Bear Feelings
This activity helps children consider the feelings of others.
How do you think a polar bear feels when they catch a fish?
How do you think a polar bear feels when the ice in his Arctic Home is melting?
For this activity I rolled the pocket cube and the children crawled like a polar bear with the rolled emotion.
Making Polar Bear Masks
The children absolutely loved making their Polar Bear
Masks and the masks were just adorable.
They were excited to take a group picture together
with the masks. They wanted to hide their faces then show their faces.
Arctic Stories - Story Retelling
Arctic Stories - Story Retelling
Last week the children enjoyed story time and heard the wonderful story Penry’s Great Adventure. This story book along with the story pieces was included in the curriculum.
This week I set the book & story pieces out on the table for the children to use to retell the story to each other. They also could choose to make up their own stories.
