This last week we did so many fun Learning Activities with Experience Early Learning Curriculum . Our Theme this month is All About Me  and today I am sharing some of the Activities we did.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to use  Experience Early Learning Curriculum with my students and to share our experiences on my blog.
In exchange for my unbiased and honest reviews Experience Early Learning has provided me with the curriculum free of charge.
I have used Experience Early Learning Curriculum in my Classroom since 2017. This Curriculum has been a True Blessing for me and my students! ❤️

This week we started our first week of school. We only had half of our class there this week. Next week they will all be at school.😊 Several were out of town. We had a Fantastic Time of Learning and Fun. It was so exciting to be back in the classroom. We had a Great Week!
The children are getting used to the new routine. They are having so much fun making new friends! They are learning  each other’s names.
Each school year I love watching them learn all through the year and seeing their progress. ❤️

This month our theme is All About Me. This last week we were learning about body parts. Our head, arms, legs, hands and feet.
Circle Time Fun
Balance a Button Activity
We Had Fun Learning about Balancing During Circle Time by Balancing Buttons
In the photos above and one below we are balancing buttons on our head, arm, knee and elbow.
While doing this it is fun to sing this movement song below:
Sung To the tune - The Muffin Man
Put a button on your elbow,
On your elbow, on your elbow.
Put a button on your elbow,
And balance if you can.
This was hilarious and it can be harder than you think! πŸ˜‚

Creative Art
Family Puppet
The children enjoyed creating their puppets. They chose the color shirt they wanted for their puppet. They picked the color hair and how they wanted the style & the eyes. They turned out to be the Cutest Ever!!!! They talked about family and fun things they do together. 😊

They took their time and made their own unique creations.

Family Puppet Art

Table Top Math

Tangram Body

Each child had their own container of playdough and shared tangrams to make creations. The children built designs using the different shapes in the playdough.

They were interested in seeing what designs they could make. They enjoyed making the Shape imprints in the playdough.

Learning About The Body

Creative Art
X-Ray
How do the bones feel under your skin?
What is this picture called?
The children learned that bones are hard and skin & muscles are soft.  An X-ray is a special picture that shows our bones. They were excited to create their own x-ray picture.

The children used the materials to make their x-ray picture.

The X-ray pictures turned out so cute!

Time For a Game
Table Top Math
Body Parts Lotto
I set out the lotto cards face down. The children took turns flipping over a card to find matches for their lotto mat.
They enjoyed this game and learned how to give each player a turn. It was the first of many fun games we will play this school year.

Small Group Literacy
Handprint Journal

This week we started our first journal. The children worked on tracing their hand and tracing their name on the front cover. They completed a few pages of their journal and will continue writing through the month until we send the journals home at the end of September. Each month they will receive a new journal with new writing activities.

Table Top Literacy
B is For Bird
This week our Letter was Letter Bb
Next week we will review letter Bb with tracing practice and
 letter sound as well.

Friends and Fun ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This week all of our new friends were not at school yet but we still had a super amazing time. We can’t wait to see them next week !
