The past few weekends when my granddaughter Ariana came over to our house we had some fun with the DinoLand Theme from Experience Early Learning. Experience Early Learning

The Paleontologist
Paleontologists are sometimes called “Fossil Detectives”and their job is to find clues about very old plants and animals.

First Ariana wrote in her Field Journal. She wrote some of the vocabulary words included with the curriculum.

Excavation Site

She kept telling me she wanted to dig so we did the Excavation Dig Activity.

She brushed the dirt off the bone pieces one at a time.

Revealing all the bone pieces.

She enjoyed digging so much she didn’t want to stop.

Bone Puzzles
The next activity Ariana did was the Bone Puzzles.
Ariana laid out the bone pieces and tried to figure out how she wanted to arrange them.
She copied two of the dinosaurs on the puzzle sheet. She also created a few of her own designs.

T-Rex Teeth Necklace
Ariana made this super cute T-Rex Necklace. She created a pattern with the teeth triangles and straw pieces. Soooo Cute! 😍

Below I am sharing some of the amazing and fun activities we did. This is such a Fun Theme! Experience Early Learning
