Caring

We started out our week of Caring by discussing the topic of Including Everyone. I showed the children the Daily Topic Poster and we discussed how and where we can include our friends.

A fun Make and Play Project they completed was a:

Friendship Bracelet 

We discussed how the beads represent family and friends & the children really liked this.

Letter Community

The children enjoyed filling the Letter Community Sheets in the Writing Center. I laminated them so they can be enjoyed over and over.
The children filled in letters F, T and H.

Get Well Card

The children loved this art project. They thought of the person they wanted to give it to. Someone who may not be feeling well. When their parents picked them up they told their parents all about the card. The children were very excited.

This was a great week with our focus on Caring.  Our week included activities centered around important social skills .  Sharing, Caring, Working Together and more.

Next Week our focus is Communication. Our Main theme is Friends and Feelings for the Month of September.
