Easter Celebration

Sunday, April 1, 2018

Last Tuesday was our Easter Celebration. I surprised the children with a classroom full of Easter Learning Centers. All month long our main focus has been Space so the children were very surprised and excited to find Easter Centers for our Party Day.

For each Holiday I am always so excited to receive a Complete Celebration Kit from Mother Goose Time in the regular monthly curriculum kit.

It includes many Awesome activities for the current holiday. For Easter we used several of the Easter Holiday Party Resources.

It is a good idea to have your party checklist handy as you decide what activities you want to do with your children.

Circle Time Activity

5 Little Bunnies- is the Perfect Easter Circle Time Activity. The finger puppets are adorable. It is a great early math activity.

I used these cards to make an Easter Math Game.

It involves rolling the dice, counting out the erasers and placing on the correct number card.

The children loved this Math Easter Game!

Another fun Activity was Pin the Tail on the Bunny.

If you look above you will see a very mischievous look on the little girl’s face. That’s because she said she pinned the tail on his face. 😀

Below I will share other Learning Centers and Activities from our Easter Celebration Day.

Block Center- The children enjoyed playing with Peter Rabbit and Friends in Peter Rabbit’s Tree House.

Easter Playdoh Shapes fun in Sensory

Easter Stories and Story Telling Pieces in Library Center. A favorite is Peter Rabbit.

Sensory Table - find the Eggs using Tongs

Dramatic Play - Peter Rabbit 🐰 Easter Egg Hunt

Writing Center - You Are Invited-Invitations 🐇

The children enjoyed writing out invitations to their parents in Writing Center.

Party Time

After Easter Learning Centers it was time to eat Lunch. The parents provided food for the party. The children ate fruit, veggies, ham, cheese, pigs in blankets, chips & dip and more. They couldn’t wait for cupcakes.

The children then made a Easter Crown. Parents helped us and it was so much fun!

Then finally it was time for our Easter Egg Hunt! The children couldn’t wait! They had so much fun with their friends hunting Easter Eggs.

It was a Super Easter Celebration Day!

Disclaimer: I am so thankful for the opportunity to use Experience Early Learning formerly Mother Goose Time Curriculum with my students. I can’t wait to share our learning experiences on my blog. In exchange for my unbiased and honest reviews, Experience Early Learning has provided us with the curriculum free of charge.
