Mystery In the Trees

Tuesday, July 10, 2018

This month we are Nature Detectives and this week we are learning all about trees.

Today we talked about climbing a tree. How high we would cimb. What we might see. Would we be scared or happy?

We discussed what kind of animals we might find in a tree and sang the song "Climbing Up a Tree".

We looked at the Daily Topic Poster and saw the Panda Bear climbling a tree. Another bear that spends time in a tree is a Koala Bear.

Ariana made a cute Koala 🐨 Puppet. She cut it out. Drew it’s eyes, mouth and ears. Cut out it’s nose and glued it on. Then added it’s cotton ball belly.

So cute!!!! She enjoyed making and playing with her Koala Bear puppet.

Then Ariana went on a Nature Search using the Magnifying Glass and Theme Poster.

She enjoyed using her new magnifying glass she got from Mother Goose Time!

Things that would be exciting to find outside

on a Nature Hunt are animals

and Plants

Below are some other fun learning activities we did this week from Mother Goose Time.

Name Climbing

Tree Shapes

Stick Letters

It has been an Awesome Week of Tree Fun!
