What a fun week this was! Learning about Visitors in the Garden!

What Do You Like?

The children drew their favorite food in the garden, in the I Can Read book!

Some drew Carrots, Beans, Corn and Potatoes.

Beside Their picture they wrote the name of the vegetable.

Creative Art-Feed the Crow

The children cut out the game pieces. Then they were ready to play.

Let’s Feed the Crow a worm, a strawberry, corn and more.

How much food can you feed the crow before you flip over the Scarecrow? Now let’s count how much food he ate.

Literacy-Build the Scarecrow

The children enjoyed building Scarecrows for the garden. I laminated the pieces and attached velcro so they could easily move the pieces around to build. Where does his head go? Where does his legs go? Where do his arms go? This was a super fun activity!

Creative Art-My Pet Toad

These were the cutest and the children loved them! They loved Learning about Toads and making their own Pet Toad. They were interested in learning the differences between a frog and a toad. The children loved the big eyes on their Pet Toad. Their parents thought their toads were really cute when picking their children up at the end of the day.

Literacy-Bee Letters

Emergent Writing and Alphabet Writing Practice

The children did this activity as their Morning Writing Activity. They love writing and they had fun writing the Alphabet because they enjoyed reviewing the letters from the school year.

Math-Build a Beehive

and Rabbits In the Garden

Building a beehive with the cubes was so much fun! The children did this activity one at a time.

The children also loved Rabbits in the Garden Game! This activity was done as a group of 2 or more. The children took turns and did really well with out my help.

And more šŸŒ»

The girls loved making Playdoh Flower Designs

It was an Awesome Month of Growing Gardens!
