Connecting With Nature

 #natureconnection

June has been an Awesome month for connecting with nature. The children are finally out of school for the summer. Time for a more flexible schedule at home for the Summer Months.

In Texas the weather has been so hot. The children were so excited when it rained because it not only cooled temperatures down it created an opportunity for outside art.

Mud Art

Ariana used sticks, mud and rocks while creating.

She and Samuel had a Blast with Mud Art!

Morning Walk

Every morning Ariana goes walking with her mom and brother and it never fails that they see animals along the way. Below in the photos are a few of the animals they have seen.

The deer like to snack in her mother’s vegetable garden . That is their favorite place. Sometimes they have their babies along with them. The children love seeing the animals.

They named the bunny Peter Rabbit.

Ariana helps her mother in the garden. She plants the seeds and waters the plants. They planted squash, corn, watermelon and more.

Today I am organizing my office.

After a busy Pre-K School Year and Soon the Starting of a new one.

Some people would call this office cluttered 😍 but this is a busy happy place for me. This is a place where I plan for my children and my classroom & the school year. I plan parties, art projects, special days, using the curriculum and so much more. I spend many hours in here. I still get just as excited each and every year ❤️

And as Always I have a precious little helper ❤️

Ms. Asia

Oh, and I am sure most Teachers can relate to this thought! Lol ! 😂

 Ms. Vonda ❤️

Places We Live

Monday, June 11, 2018 No comments

This week we are learning about places people live. We talked about the different types of homes people live in. Here and all around the world. Homes keep us safe. We discussed how everyone’s home looks different and how it is important to them. Whether it’s a house, an apartment, an RV , a hotel room, it is home to them .🏡

Ariana described the houses she saw in the Inspiration Photo below. She talked about the color of each house in the photo. She said she would give her house the number 10. She also said she would paint a flower on it.
