Growing Gardens

This past week we were exploring growing gardens.

Sprouts and Stems

Each child drew their own seed story. First they drew a seed. Then the stem. Then the leaves, flower and roots. They colored and labeled their seed story. They turned out beautiful and the children were very proud of them. They couldn’t wait to show them to their parents.

Plant Parts

Where are the roots? Where is the seed? Where is the stem? Where are the leaves?

Throughout the week we discussed or included plant parts in all our activities.
